Our Pastor
My Name is Reverend James Tucker, also known as Brother Jimmy. I have the honor and joy of being the pastor of the Garfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Garfield Kentucky.
I was born and raised right here in Breckinridge County, in the Hudson community. I am married to Oletta Tucker and have been for fourty three years. Blessed to our life are two children, a daughter Leslie Anthony, and a son Kevin Tucker.
In 1980 God placed a call to ministry on our life. Since that very day God has opened many doors of opportunity to minister to the body of Christ. I have had the privilege of ministering in revivals in Central and Southern Kentucky and Northern and Eastern Tennessee. The greatest passion of my life has been pastoring the Body of Christ. I have experienced the honor of pastoring the following churches:

Mount Vernon Cumberland Presbyterian Church
Oak Forest Cumberland Presbyterian Church
Mount Pleasant Cumberland Presbyterian Church
Garfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church
Hudson Community Church
And now presently at Garfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church
The desire of my heart is that God will continue to fulfill this purpose in our life and through our life for His glory as we serve with the people in the Garfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
