Hanging of the Greens Service 2026

This year is the 44th year of the Hanging of the Greens Service at Garfield!! Started in 1982 when Brother Ray Howton was a transitional pastor for Garfield CPC while serving in the US Army at Fort Knox. This tradition has continued at Garfield CPC thanks to an enduring effort led by Beverly Tabor along with a host of children over the years.

Sunday November 29.

Always a good service to start the Christmas advent season. Time is 6:00 pm with finger food refreshments after the service in the fellowship hall. Bring some friends, a little food if you want to, and a celebrating heart, you will be glad you did.

Practices for those involved are subject to updates. If you are involved in the practices please verify dates and times.
